Music and Songs
We could fear that
with the disappearing of the pastoral way of life, these songs so original which
are transmitted from fathers to sons and valleys to valleys at the time of the
moving of flocks, were doomed to silence.
Nothing of the kind.
In Corsica we still sing and always sing.
If the Nanne ,these lullabies, or the Serinati, these songs of love, have slowly
died down, the polyphonic song or Paghjella finds a surprising vitality again.
This patrimony is invested again by present groups of international renown like
I Muvrini.
