The Sanguinaires Isles [Ph. Desjobert

On the Sanguinaires Road
When the Sun sets
The Sanguinaires Isles [Ph. Desjobert
]
Leaving Ajaccio at the Citadel, the road follows a coast cut by many inlets
and beaches like the one of Marinella, pass
over this Chapel of the Greeks, refugees from Paomia in the 18th century
before settling more in the north in Cargèse,
to end in this fine lace of granite that form the Sanguinaires Isles,
which are magnificent in the sunset.
The road ends at the Point of the Parata.
The Gulf of Ajaccio spreads out to the Capo di Muro as last horizon.
