A Citadel Corte

The glorious past haunts us in this land which is resistant to any constraint imposed by the outside world.
Corte (Corti), genoese citadel in the heart of the revolt, became the capital of a Corsica liberated by Pasquale Paoli.
In the 9th century, already occupied by the Moors, it had been reconquered by the legendary hero, Ugo Colonna.
